So now Kodak has successfully sued Sun over some patents involving Java. I just don't get how people can now see how harmful this is to innovation. If we're not careful, we will soon be at the point where you can't create any new product in technology because everything you need to build it will be patented by someone else and they'll sue you out of business. Or some device will violate some copyright so we'll no longer be able to record anything for personal use. Where does it stop?
